The Fence System Post Base is an ideal solution for setting up the foundation of your fence. It is designed to securely attach your fence post to a deck or concrete surface. For a complete outdoor privacy solution, consider pairing this product with other items from the Fence collection.

  • This product is not intended for direct placement on soil or sand.
  • The Toja Grid Fence system is not designed as a safety railing at heights, and it is imperative that purchasers review local railing/building codes to ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to railing requirements.
  • It is the responsibility of fence purchasers to consult with a local hardware store or contractor for guidance on selecting appropriate anchoring hardware suitable for their specific surface, post size and weight.
  • When building on a deck, blocking should be used under the deck to allow for proper installation of anchoring hardware.
  • Adherence to regional guidelines regarding allowable fence height(s) in the respective area is crucial.
  • To enhance the structural integrity of the installation, it is recommended to leave gaps between panels to allow for wind to disperse through them, thus reducing the pressure put upon the panels.
  • For added support, it is advisable to incorporate a section at a 90-degree angle every three sections.

Users are urged to exercise due diligence in implementing these guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant installation.

Toja Tip: Ensure lumber is fully inserted into the bracket cavity, resting on metal tabs for proper installation. We recommend up to 7 feet between vertical posts when building with our fence system.

Shipping wood is costly. Most of the population has access to stores that sell wood locally where they live. Buying your lumber allows you the freedom to select the type of wood you want to use for your build and budget. There are also regional limitations for what kind of lumber is ideal for your build; different species of lumber would be used in tropical climate vs. a cold one.
  • Anchoring Hardware
Due to different building materials and requirements based on location, we advise on checking building codes and talking to your local hardware store for the best securing hardware for your specific surface.
